Report on Obama’s Use of Social Media

January 27, 2009

Today, Guy Kawasaki twittered a report from Edelman with an interesting analysis of how the Barack Obama campaign used social media. It has implications for this team, so I’d like to share it with you.
The report is called “The Social Pulpit“.

  1. Rory Says:

Does Guy Kawasaki sounds like a fake name to you?

  2. Timothy J. Allen Says:

No more than astronauts named Brent Jett or Willie McCool. 😉

  3. Love this report, thanks for surfacing. At IPG, we did this report, Emerging Media, Barack Obama, and the Future of Political Campaigns that compiled all the various technologies and channels Obama’s team used. Ours was the “what” and I love how Social Pulpit’s analysis gives the how. Will be posting this on our site, for sure.
